Welcome to the website of The Edinburgh/Trafalgar Family Health Centers, Inc., (E/TFHC). We are delighted you are looking us over and hope we can be of help to you.

The E/TFHC is a Community Health Center which provides reasonably priced, family-oriented, comprehensive, primary and preventive health services. It strives to serve as a "medical home" for patients — one that emphasizes long-term, holistic approaches to care that include prevention and health promotion. The centers charge affordable fees while offering a "sliding-fee-scale" to consumers with limited financial means and no insurance.

Listed below are examples of the services available to E/TFHC patients:

Care of acute health problems
Cold, flu, sore throat, sinusitis, upper respiratory infections, ear infections, UTIs, pink eye, vomiting, headaches

Care of chronic health conditions
Diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis, obesity, emphysema, asthma, heart disease

Complete physical exams
Physicals for sports, school, work, Medicare, and Medicaid disability

Assessment of health status
Complete physical, emotional, and behavioral evaluations

Immunizations
Flu and pneumonia shots, hepatitis A and B series, vaccinations for tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella

Lab work
EKG, blood work, STD testing, pregnancy testing

Women’s Health Services
Clinical breast exams, pap and pelvic exams, ultrasound, colposcopy, prenatal care, contraceptives

Pediatrics
Well-baby and well-child care, vaccinations, preventative care, acute care

ADULT & child Mental Health Services
Mental health and behavioral counseling, crisis intervention, short-term pyschotherapy, treatment for addictions

The E/TFHC collaborates with many local agencies to help meet the diverse needs of our patients. By working closely with our partners, the E/TFHC is able to offer patients the resources they need to lead healthy lives.
