Chris Holmes, M.D.

Chris Lindsey Holmes, M.D., received a B.A. in Economics and Politics from Randolph-Macon Women’s College and a Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After completing a Pediatric residency at the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Holmes developed and ran a high risk newborn clinic for a Community Health Center in northern California. She has also worked in a Rural Health Center in Washington State and an urban Community Health Center in southern Ohio.

Throughout her career, Dr. Holmes has done extensive volunteer work as a physician, most recently serving at the Volunteers in Medicine clinic in Columbus, Indiana. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Holmes joined the staff of the Edinburgh/Trafalgar Family Health Centers in 2005 and was appointed Medical Director in 2006.
